Title: Movie Night at Ianto's
Fandom: Torchwood
Author: Cat Moon
Rating: G
Words: 200
Characters: Jack/Ianto
Summary: Things have changed. Ianto notices.
Ianto considered his life as he moved around the kitchen, preparing for the evening ahead. It seemed impossible, but somehow, some-when, he and Jack appeared to have become a couple... only he couldn't pinpoint the moment when their relationship had changed.
Yet here he was, waiting for Jack to return so they could indulge in their new weekly pastime (rift permitting of course), 'movie night.'
It was nice, he had to admit. Almost...normal, if he dared think the thought. Jack seemed content with the new status quo, so he decided he needed to stop fretting and just enjoy it. Every moment was precious when one worked for Torchwood, not to be wasted.
The door banged open as Jack made his usual loud entrance, calling out while it slammed shut behind him. "Ianto! Are you ready with the popcorn?"
"Right here," he answered, carrying a tray loaded with snacks and drinks into the lounge.
"I've got us a couple of great ones tonight. 'Mermaids from Space' and 'Amphibian Hermaphrodites.' Can't believe no one rented them yet!"
Ianto stood a moment, considering his options for response. Finally, he shrugged, accepting the inevitable. "Imagine that," he responded dryly.
Maybe not quite normal then.
